Vânia Nielsen was born at Serro, in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. For 23 years she had a successful career as a dentist. This career, gave her a great appreciation for aesthetics and natural beauty. The skills and precision required in her dental profession, along with her many life experiences and her worldwide travels would prove to be very valuable in her new career as a fashion accessory designer.

Vania´s creative and imaginative mind is her most important asset. With a passion for fashion accessories she made a successful entry into the fashion business. As a result of her love of fashion accessories, she left her dental practice and opened two fashion accessory shops. As her new business grew, Vania's creativity began to emerge as she began to design and produce her own unique pieces which led to the birth of the Vania Nielsen line.

Success for the new label came quickly, the creations got diversified,. With a boom in fashion accessory sales grew quickly and within six months Vania was exhibiting her creations at foreign market fairs and exhibitions. Within a very short time Vania was in the spotlight of the foreign market and of the sophisticated Brazilian market.

Created to last forever, the pieces, have as a main characteristics, fine details, richness in materials and design combinations, which compliment with the feminine shape and essence. The necklaces, earrings, bracelets, belts are hand-made using the finest materials such as, precious Brazilian stones, pearls, metals and crystals.

Today Vania Nielsen's accessory line is sold Brazil's finest stores and is also available in many fine shops around the world.
